Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy

Latinum IT Partners · Last updated April 3, 2026

Short version: Use Latinum for legitimate business purposes. Don't use it to spam, deceive, break the law, or cause harm. If you're not sure whether something is allowed, ask us first.

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do with the Latinum AI agent service. It exists to protect you, other users, third parties, and us. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Permitted Uses

Latinum is designed for legitimate business use. Permitted uses include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and sending business communications
  • Scheduling and managing calendar events and meetings
  • Researching, summarizing, and analyzing business information
  • Updating CRM records and managing client relationships
  • Generating internal reports, plans, and documentation
  • Any other lawful business task you direct the agent to perform

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Latinum to:

Spam and Unsolicited Communications

  • Send unsolicited commercial messages ("spam") in violation of Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) or any other applicable law
  • Conduct mass outreach campaigns without valid consent from recipients
  • Use the agent to harvest email addresses or contact information from third parties without authorization

Illegal Activities

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or court order — including Canadian federal and provincial law
  • Engage in fraud, phishing, or deceptive practices
  • Infringe intellectual property rights
  • Facilitate money laundering or other financial crimes

Deceptive or Harmful Conduct

  • Impersonate another person or organization without their explicit authorization
  • Present AI-generated content as human-authored in contexts where that distinction is material — for example, in court filings, academic submissions, or when directly asked by another party
  • Use AI output as the sole basis for financial, legal, medical, or other high-stakes decisions without human review
  • Create, spread, or amplify disinformation

Technical Abuse

  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Latinum infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from the Service
  • Circumvent authentication, rate limits, or other security measures
  • Use the Service to attack or harm third-party systems

Harmful Content

  • Generate, store, or distribute content that is defamatory, harassing, or threatening to individuals
  • Create or distribute malware, spyware, or other malicious code
  • Generate content that exploits, sexualizes, or endangers minors

4. Consequences of Violation

If we determine that you have violated this AUP, we may take any or all of the following actions:

  • Issue a warning and request that you cease the prohibited activity
  • Temporarily suspend your account while we investigate
  • Permanently terminate your subscription with immediate effect
  • Report your activities to law enforcement or regulatory authorities
  • Pursue civil remedies to recover damages caused by the violation

We will attempt to give you notice before taking action, except where the violation is severe, ongoing, or where giving notice would itself cause harm.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a violation of this policy — whether by another user or through a security vulnerability — please notify us at kevin@latinum.ca. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
